New 4-km section of "Zakopianka" opened for public traffic.

Since July 10, 2009 we can run on new 2-carriageway section of S7 expressway - bypass of Lubie?. New section of "Zakopianka", unlike put to operation in the year of 2008 previous My?lenice-Pcim section, has a completely new route, bypassing Lubie? on east side and jutting out into the Szczebel mountain. The attractivity of the route is accentuated by deep cuts and location on steep slope combined with an extensive view on mountains. This land configuration was a real challenge for designer and contractor.
Construction of the bypass was commenced in 2006.
